Natural Remedies for Constipation

Regarding contipation, if you’ve been using, here are a few lifestyle choices you can learn to promote your bowel regularity.

Hydration. For your long term bowel regularity, drink more water! The large intestine necessitates sufficient amounts of water in order to form and push waste through the long bowel. Generally speaking, most of us are chronically dehydrated. This is, doctors agree, the principal cause of constipation for most people. If there is nothing else you do for improved regularity and colon health, please drink more water.

Fiber. Fiber is the other substantial dietary ingredient for regular bowel health. If about half of your diet is not fruits, vegetables and whole grains, you could use more fiber. I promise you, if you were to increase your intake of fiber foods, and drink enough water, your bowels will move more regularly.

Increased exercise. The quality and regularity of physical activity we get does have an enormous influence on the frequency of movement of your colon. The large intestine is one long muscle, and if we don’t get plenty exercise, our large intestine will be forced to do work extra hard (especially if it doesn’t have sufficient water and fiber). Regular exercise assists the muscles in the large intestine and quickens transit time of waste moving through the colon.
