This Girl’s Dream Wedding Story
3 February 2010Could you imagine incurring the emotional overhead to make a destination wedding and not making it mean something? Permit yours truly to tell everyone a thing or three about the Shapiro family’s long wedding tradition. Perhaps if you live in Chicago you know we have a storied tradition of planning classic wedding events.
We live for the sake of weddings! And we’re thankful to know plenty of wedding fashion designers, photographers and hair dressers. My younger brother is a wildly-successful wedding singer songwriter and violinist–there’s nobody better! Recently my assistant has been browsing a who’s who collection of guides using a site for Chicago wedding sites. No surprise that I practically went to school for wedding planning. As a remarkable luxury wedding planner without a minute to spare, I am at long last fashioning my destination wedding with a bit of insight from sister. Did I mention that I am so in love. You might see that I’ve been knocked off my world by love.
Caroline, my luxury wedding photographer vendor and I, are inseparable and best friends. She is completely jealous soon-to-be husband Davis. Tuesday, we busted out the 1980s polaroids of mother’s notoriously tacky Dallas wedding. Good times hilarious, but fashions come and go. Can you find the an example about good form in there somewhere.
I’m so excited for my wedding. Our company is so generous to be taking care of all the reservations, and the reception will be at one of the tallest hotels! I can’t tell you when and where because who needs party crashers. It’s a great time to be getting married, celebrating love with friends and family. We can all admit that’s what a Chicago wedding is most essentially about. Cheers to the verve of living.
Well wishes,
Christy
